"One Team One Dream"

Our Mission Statement:

1) To promote interactive teamwork activities among health and human service students across Canada with their colleagues in different health disciplines, through academic and social events.

2) To establish the HSSA as a national interprofessional student association (the National HSSA), connecting 16 universities across Canada. At each HSSA chapter, we hope to establish 1) a High School Outreach Program, 2) a Campus-wide interprofessional program, and 3) a national HSSA executive committee liaison.

3) To help students understand each other’s roles in delivering patient care by dispelling crippling stereotypes surrounding the health professions, and by fostering respect and trust for fellow colleagues in the healthcare system.
